Instagram Auto Responses: What They Are and Why You Should Use Them
Responding to comments and acknowledging what your followers have to say is one of the easiest ways to build a following of paying customers and engaged fans on Instagram.
Receiving a large number of comments on your content is also a great way to rank high for your hashtags and make your Instagram page more discoverable.
We at AiGrow get all that, which is why we’re super happy to announce our new Auto-Respond feature.
What is it?
AiGrow’s auto-respond feature allows you to automatically respond to comments left on your most recent posts.
Instead of manually having to respond to every comment left on your posts, particularly if most comments require similar responses, you can leverage the team of Scouts at AiGrow and our intelligent automation engine to respond for you. This way, a new comment never goes without a response.
AiGrow auto responds to comments left on your posts in two rounds: once within the first hour of posting, and then again at the end of the day.
You can even create multiple auto responses to be used in rotation to make your responses more genuine.
Why use it?
Being able to automatically respond to comments serves two main purposes:
- You make the people who left the comments on your post feel acknowledged and appreciated
- You quickly double the amount of engagement each one of your posts receives
The more engagement your posts receive (engagement meaning comments and Likes), and the quicker your posts receive it, the more likely you will show up in the top posts when people search for hashtags connected to your posts.
The more of your posts that rank high for their hashtags, the more visible you become. The more visible you are, the more people will visit your channel and ideally choose to follow you.
Let’s say you create a post with the hashtag #instagrammarketing.
If your post using #instagrammarketing receives more Likes and comments than the majority of other posts using #instagrammarketing, you’re going to show up front and centre (ideally in the top three squares shown below) when people search the hashtag #instagrammarketing.
